Muse & Museums is thrilled to present art activations inspired by community-building, culture, and curiosity. Join us at CAPSUL Studio for a beginner-friendly Ebru (Turkish Marbling) workshop led by Hacer Özcan. This hands-on session introduces participants to Ebru, a centuries-old Turkish art form celebrated for its mesmerizing patterns and meditative process.
The workshop will delve into the rich historical and cultural heritage of Ebru, teaching foundational techniques that involve skillfully floating pigments on water and manipulating them into intricate designs. These ethereal patterns resemble vibrant swirling galaxies or delicate blooming flowers. Each creation is a unique masterpiece, reflecting the harmonious interplay between the artist and the water. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own marbled artwork to take home.
